# Quick Task API

The Quick Task API format is as follows:

```
https://dashboard.prismaio.com?url=URL
```

## **URL Instructions**

### Product Link Format

For the product link format, a link can either be just the product or the product with a desired variant. For example, if one wanted to make a quick task for this [product](https://kith.com/collections/footwear/products/new-balance-made-in-us-990v4-elderberry-pigment), the desired format for a quick task link would be:

```
https://dashboard.prismaio.com?url=https://kith.com/collections/footwear/products/new-balance-made-in-us-990v4-elderberry-pigment
```

If you want to specify the variant for a product, the following is also a valid quick task link which will *override* the user’s default size:

```
https://dashboard.prismaio.com?url=https://kith.com/collections/footwear/products/new-balance-made-in-us-990v4-elderberry-pigment?variant=16319713804357
```

### Add to Cart Format

PrismAIO allows a user to input an add-to-cart link as the url. For example, this is also a valid quick task link:

```
https://dashboard.prismaio.com?url=https://kith.com/cart/16319713804357:1
```

### Mass Link Change

PrismAIO allows a user to mass link change an existing task group to a new product. The URL to mass link change is below where `PRODUCT_URL` is changed to the product URL of what the user is trying to change to:

```
https://dashboard.prismaio.com/?url=PRODUCT_URL&action=update
```

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.prismaio.com/misc.-guides/quick-task-api.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
