# Delays

* When creating tasks, there are two different delays to add: monitor delay and task delay

### Monitor Delay

* The monitor delay is the delay by which the monitor threads will monitor for the product. A lower monitor delay will result in faster product pickup times.

### Task Delay

* The task delay is the delay by which the task will try and add a product to cart.
